Sophia LuHan Moore is a filmmaker, photographer, and student from North Carolina.
Her work revolves around stories--- no lighting choice, editing decision, or stylistic element is paired without intention or meaning. She loves experimenting with contrast, often playing with black and white imagery against bold, striking colors to explore how they interact.
As a woman of color, Sophia is passionate about strengthening the voices of marginalized groups. She values community, loves meeting new people, and strives to build genuine connections through her work.
Authenticity is at the heart of everything she creates. Unafraid to be vulnerable, Sophia uses her art as a way to connect more deeply with others and foster meaningful, personal relationships with those who experience it.
